Homing, As a Wild Boar Passes
1.
Book designs for an ongoing series of poetry chapbooks, published by Horizon Press. A sister project to their art and literature publication, The Horizon Magazine, the collection was designed to be crisp, striking, and understated, whilst retaining a sense of the broader ‘Horizon’ voice and family, through the continued use of typefaces and small punctuation details established in the magazine.
2.
A unique and bespoke inner title design was created for each book, which (along with the colour scheme) echo the themes, imagery, and poetic styles within each collection. [Above left] an illustration composed to reflect As a Wild Boar Passes’ bold voice and themes of nature and subversion
